Lipodissolve Ultra™ “Non-Surgical Fat and Cellulite Reduction
ViVA is pleased to introduce Lipodissolve Ultra™. Lipodissolve™ is an exciting, non-surgical alternative to liposuction.
The Lipodissolve™ treatment consists of a series of fine needle injections that convert the fat in a small, targeted area to a liquid form. It does this by breaking down the bonds that connect the fat molecules to one another without damaging any of the surrounding body tissue. The body then filters out the fat naturally over the course of a few weeks. The majority of patients require approximately four –six treatment sessions to achieve their desired results.
The Ultra refers to the Ultrasound applied before and after the treatment to reduce bruising to the treated area.
Lipodissolve™ can be used on a variety of areas of the body including the arms, chin, belly, back, buttocks and legs. Lipodissolve™ removes fat deposits that remain unaffected by diet and exercise and also is an effective technique for treating cellulite. While liposuction treatments generally result in significant post-treatment swelling, healthy skin actually tightens around the site of Lipodissolve™ injection, creating a firmer, more toned appearance without the need for lift or tuck surgery.
The results from Lipodissolve Ultra™ results are nothing short of amazing. See the Gallery of pictures on this page.

Lipodissolve FAQ
- What is Lipodissolve?
Lipodissolve is a series of micro-injections developed to dissolve fat deposits of the face and body.
Lipodissolve was originally discovered in Italy in the early 1980’s and modified and improved in Europe in 2002 as a more effective treatment option for localized fat reduction.
Close [X] - How do I know if Lipodissolve is right for me?
Lipodissolve may be a suitable therapy for you if you have small areas of fat deposits that need reduction, or you are unable or unwilling to undergo sugery.
Close [X] - What happens during Lipodissolve?
Lipodissolve micro-injections target the fat deposits. When injections are done to the fat area you wish to have reduced the medications in the injections initiate the fat to gradually loosen, liquify and finally dissolve and eliminate through the natural process.
Close [X] - How much weight can I expect to lose?
Lipodissolve is not a weight loss program, and although some patients have dramatic reduction in circumferal measurement, the actual weight loss may be insignificant. This occurs even with liposuction surgery of fat because fat itself is very light in weight.
Close [X] - Will the fat return after Lipodissolve treatment?
The fat will return if you gain more weight in the future, but observations in Lipodissolve have shown that the fat often stay off quite well in the treated area even after some overall weight gain.
Close [X] - Can results become uneven?
The different injection techniques can be used either for skin retraction or fat reduction. In procedures for fat reduction there has been no reports until date where unevenness in areas injected have been observed from the injections. Often Lipodissolve has been used to correct uneven effects from other procedures, such as surgical lipoplasty and cellulite.
Close [X] - Which part of the body can be treated with Lipodissolve?

- Thighs
- Hips
- Double chin/neck

Lipodissolve is sometimes used by plastic surgeons to mobilize fat during liposuction, or after liposuction to correct surgical deformities such as increased cellulite from liposuction of thighs, dogears and ‘ripple’ effect from surgery.
Close [X] - I can't find a doctor in my area. Can I do the injections myself?
No. Lipodissolve is strictly for clinical use. The safety data on Lipodissolve is in accurate clinical use by physicians trained in the therapy and could pose risks with wrong use.

Yes, Lipodissolve is supported by clinical studies and monitoring of effects in Europe and the USA . Your doctor can provide you the details of these studies on request.
Close [X] - Is Lipodissolve safe?
Lipodissolve has shown a very promising safety report and compared with many popular cosmetic procedures, it can be viewed as very safe. Lipodissolve still lack clinical data to confirm long-term safety and if allergies against the medications occur, or the procedure is used wrong, patients can have adverse reactions.
If you have any concerns of Lipodissolve safety, make sure your physician has answered all your questions to satisfaction during consultation.
Close [X] - What are the side-effects?
Common side-effects are some light burning in the area injected, bruising, swelling and ache. Women should avoid treatment before and during their period, as this created a much greater experience of discomfort and pain.
Your doctor will explain during your consultation what reactions are common and rare with Lipodissolve, and what degree of side-effects you should expect and possible long-term effects.
Close [X] - Is the procedure painful?
The procedure is seldom very painful, with exception to some body areas and body types which may cause a bit more ache after therapy. Women should avoid Lipodissolve right before and during their period as this will increase the sensation of discomfort dramatically.
Close [X] - How long is the downtime or recovery?
Depending on body area treated, patients often return to normal activity immediately after treatment. Patients having facial treatments for double chin or facial fat will have extensive and unattractive swelling and may wish to stay off from work 3-4 days although this is not necessary. The normal time for swelling and soreness to disappear is one week. Some minor swelling may persist longer.
Close [X] - How many treatments will I need?
It varies from patient to patient case and body areas targeted. It is normal that results are seen in 1-4 sessions although your case can differ.
Close [X] - How fast will I see results?
Treatments are repeated every 4-6 weeks apart. If you address large body areas, like the abdomen, and require several sessions you may notice minimal results between the first and second session which improves with additional sessions. Many smaller areas, like double chin, often give satisfactory results two months after a single session.
Close [X] - Where are the doctors trained in Lipodissolve?
Our physicians are trained by the American Society of Aesthetic Lipodissolve (ASAL), the developer of the Lipodissolve therapy.
Close [X] - How does Lipodissolve differ from mesotherapy?

Lipodissolve contain a standardized mixture of pharmaceutical agents that have been monitored and researched for safety. The general response time is 1-4 sessions for results, depending on body type and metabolism.

Harmony Skin Tightening (ST) with Pulsed Light
Approved by the FDA, Harmony ST uses NIR (near infra red) pulsed light technology to treat wrinkles and skin laxity through deep dermal heating that selectively targets collagen, protein and fat. Without harming the skin’s surface, pulsed light safely and effectively heats the inner layer – dermis – of the skin, inducing the formation of collagen, essential for a firm, young look. Compared to other skin tightening treatments (i.e. Thermage, Titan) which do not filter out the high water absorption wavelengths that cause pain, Harmony ST only targets what really matters in tissue remodeling – collagen, protein and fat. As a result, clients experience little or no pain with the treatment, and can return to their normal activities immediately. Common areas treated include the face, neck, chest, hands and arms. Clients generally need a series of 6 treatments, at two week intervals. Results can be seen immediately and will steadily improve over the following weeks and months.
